PP Plastic Faced Construction Template
PP Plastic Faced Construction Template (PP Plastic Faced Plywood) is a type of construction template with high-quality wood plywood as the core material and polypropylene (PP) plastic film hot-pressed on the surface. It combines the processability of wood templates with the waterproof and durable properties of plastic.

I. Structure and Specifications
Core Material: High-quality poplar and eucalyptus solid-core plywood, bonded layer by layer with phenolic resin adhesive.
Surface Layer: 0.55mm thick PP plastic film (glossy/matte/anti-slip), directly attached with hot-melt adhesive.
Standard Sizes:
1220×2440mm (4×8ft)
1830×915mm (6×3ft)
Thickness: 12–25mm

II. Core Advantages
Waterproof and Moisture-Proof: The PP film is completely water-proof, non-absorbent, non-swelling and non-deformable.
Smooth Surface: No release agent is needed, and the concrete surface is flat and can be directly finished.
Strong Weather Resistance: Stable in the environment of -50℃ to 80℃, no cracking or brittleness.
High Turnover Times: Can be reused for 25–30 times, far superior to ordinary wood templates.
Easy to Process: Can be sawn, planed, nailed and drilled, suitable for complex components.
Environmentally Friendly and Recyclable: Scrap can be recycled and regenerated, without formaldehyde pollution.
III. Application Scenarios
Construction Engineering: Walls, roof slabs, square columns, beams and columns.
Bridges and Tunnels: Bridge piers, culverts, tunnel linings.
Humid Environments: Basements, water conservancy projects.

IV. Comparison with Other Templates
PP Plastic Faced Template: Light weight, waterproof, turnover ≥25 times, smooth surface.
Wood Template: Low cost, easy to process, but water-absorbent, easy to deform, turnover 5–8 times.
Steel Template: High strength, turnover ≥50 times, but heavy, high cost, easy to rust.
V. Purchasing Points
Core Material: Solid core, no holes, no splicing.
Adhesive Layer: Phenolic resin adhesive, boiling water resistant and waterproof.
Surface Layer: Uniform PP film, no bubbles, strong adhesion.
Thickness: 15–18mm is the general specification.
