UV high glossy board

UV high gloss furniture board refers to a decorative board made of plywood, particleboard, density board (MDF), particleboard, and other substrates. The surface is covered with high solid UV paint through roller coating or spray coating processes, and is instantly cured by ultraviolet (UV) light curing equipment to form a high gloss, mirror effect finish.

Substrate pretreatment: Sanding, dust removal, and repairing the substrate to ensure a smooth and impurity free surface and improve UV paint adhesion.

Primer coating: Roll coating or spray coating UV primer, filling the capillary pores of the substrate to enhance the smoothness of the coating; Preliminary curing by UV lamp.

Sanding: Fine sanding is applied to the cured primer layer to ensure a smooth surface.

Topcoat coating: UV high gloss topcoat is applied using a spray coating process (preferred for high gloss) to ensure uniform coating and consistent thickness.

UV curing: By irradiating with ultraviolet light (wavelength 200-400nm), the photosensitive resin in the UV paint undergoes an instantaneous polymerization reaction, which is completed within 3-5 seconds to form a hard paint film.

Post processing: trimming, inspecting, and packaging the finished product to ensure no defects.
